Class Experience
Step into the dramatic world of Paso Doble — the bold, theatrical Latin dance inspired by the pageantry of the Spanish bullfight. In this class you’ll learn the basic patterns, footwork, and fundamental posture that give Paso Doble its characteristic power and flair.
We focus on:

Posture & carriage: an upright, confident stance with a lifted chest and stable alignment — essential to convey the “matador” presence on the floor.

Basic footwork & marching-style walk: precise, staccato steps that match the traditional march-like Paso tempo.

Body shaping & dramatic movement quality: learning how to use your torso, arms, and stance to create bold, expressive lines and theatrical flair.

Partner awareness & dance-floor connection (when applicable): even if you start solo, you’ll gain the basics needed for partner work — coordination, leading / following awareness, timing.

Musicality & rhythm sense: feeling the dramatic 2-beat or 2/4 Paso rhythm, learning to match steps to accentuated beats and musical phrasing, which gives the dance its dramatic intensity.
Class enrollment options
To get a taste of the class, you may start with a special of $15 / class offered to new students. Following that the following options are available: one class at time; package of 4 classes and a package of 10 classes. Contact us for details.
