This class is designed to develop fundamental skills in children aged 7-11 years old, such as body awareness, coordination, balance, music appreciation, social confidence, and respect for others. In the class, children will be learning Ballroom dances, including Waltz, Tango, and Foxtrot. This is a perfect social outlet for children who are not interested in learning Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, or other more traditional dance styles for this age group.

Class Experience
During this 45-minute class, students will learn many new skills, such as how to execute dance steps, how to partner with each other, how to move gracefully on the floor, and how to develop balance, among other elements. Although this is a drop-in/drop-out class, our instructors will be adding new material to ensure that children are constantly challenged while having a great time during the lesson. The instructor will alternate dances to ensure even learning and provide instruction on all three dances. During a typical lesson, children will focus on warm-up exercises, followed by the presentation of learning material. After the class, parents will be given information on other available classes and other methods to enhance learning.
Class enrollment options
To get a taste of the class, you may start with a special of $15 / class offered to new students. Following that the following options are available: one class at time; package of 4 classes and a package of 10 classes. Contact us for details.
